Poly9 AI for fabric & wallcovering

Swatch first. Priced by the yard or roll.

Poly9 AI for fabric and wallcovering houses answers colorway, width, repeat and stock from the fabric record, then prices yardage, rolls, COM and graded fabric from rules you approved. Showrooms you supply quote your line inside their AI with your name on every line. A missing rule returns price on request.

A 37,400-SKU decorative line and a 16,307-SKU contract line answer by the yard on Poly9 AI today, from the record. Designers see the swatch and its sister colorways first. Repeat, width and rating follow from the tag, and the price from your rules.

How selling works today
  • A designer asks for repeat and width at 4 p.m. and the spec sheet is in someone else’s inbox.
  • Showrooms carrying your line cannot quote COM yardage, so the project spec goes to the mill that can.
  • The fire test and rub count live in a PDF from three seasons ago, and every answer is retyped from a different version.
With Poly9 AI
  • Swatch exploration first, yardage or rolls quoted second, all from the record at any hour.
  • Repeat, width, rating and rub count answered from the record’s own fields, or “not on file”, never inferred.
  • Showrooms quote your COM and graded yardage with your rules, your prices, your name on the line.
What buyers pick from

Every option, with its price change.

The picker your AI shows a fabric & wallcovering buyer: real swatches, the rule behind each price change, and “price on request” where no rule exists yet.

What a typical team sees
Fabric houses

Tens of thousands of SKUs answering by the yard from the record, swatch before price.

Modeled on how teams in this industry quote today; your numbers replace it after your first month.

It’s yours
Day 1 it knows your catalog. Day 100 it knows how you sell.

Every question, quote and collection teaches your AI: which options get specified together, what each buyer asks for, which answers close. Nobody else’s AI can answer for your products, and your data trains only yours.

Questions fabric & wallcovering teams ask.

How does COM fabric pricing work?
COM (Customer’s Own Material) yardage is priced per yard from your rule, with the repeat and width shown. A designer asking for 18 yards gets the price, the cut yardage after repeat and the minimum on one line. Ask it: “18 yards of Off Track, COM, for a 3585 sofa.” Grade pricing follows your matrix, and a missing grade returns price on request.
How does it handle repeats?
Vertical and horizontal repeats come from the record. When a designer asks for COM on a frame, they go into the cut-yardage arithmetic. The quote shows the pattern repeat and the yardage after repeat, so the mill, the showroom and the upholsterer work from one number instead of three estimates.
How accurate are the technical specs?
They are read from your fabric record field by field: width, vertical repeat, content, abrasion count, fire test. Your AI never infers a rating from a similar fabric. An empty field is answered “not on file” and the question routes to your team, because a guessed flammability class helps nobody.
What about wallcovering sold by the roll?
Wallcovering prices per roll from your rule, with the minimum and the pattern match printed on the quote. A buyer asking for a 12-roll run gets rolls, minimum and total on one line, and a cut-yardage product works the same way with its own minimum. Set the rule once and every rep quotes it the same way.
Can showrooms quote our fabrics to their designers?
Yes. Connect a showroom and your catalog runs inside their AI with your pricing rules and technical data. A designer asking the showroom for your fabric in a specific colorway gets the answer from your record, priced by your rules, with your mill name on the quote line.
How does a 37,400-SKU catalog get in?
We load it. A 37,400-SKU decorative line and a 16,307-SKU contract line run on Poly9 AI today, both loaded from the supplier’s own files. Price and stock updates flow from your files on the schedule you set, and technical fields refresh with each update, so the tag and the answer never drift apart.
What if it doesn’t know a price?
It says “price on request” and drafts the quote request for you. It never estimates. Ask it to price an option you have not set up and watch it ask for the rule instead of inventing a number.
How long until it works?
The same day. Create an account, start with the sample catalog for your industry or add your own, and ask. Add one pricing rule and the first certified quote goes out in that session. Big catalogs get a white-glove import from us.
Do we pay per user?
No. Everyone on your team is included on every plan, and so is every module. You pay for sales actions: one credit each, $100 for a thousand, and every account starts with 250 of them free.
